Returns + Exchanges

The size and nature of our business does not allow us to offer returns in the way that a larger retailer can, but will happily exchange or give credit toward custom projects equal to the amount of the exchanged item value. 

Katie Poterala Jewelry will happily offer exchanges.

Any in-stock items are eligible for exchange within 15 days of delivery receipt. Items must be in original, unworn condition.  Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.     Exchanges may be made for items of equal value, or used toward the purchase of higher priced or custom works. Exchanges will incur a shipping fee associated with new item(s).

Custom and 'build your own' engagement rings are final sale and not eligible for exchange.

Personalized pieces ( in stock or made to order designs with added engraving or other custom modifications made) are not be eligible for exchange.

Items for exchanges must be postmarked within 15 days of initial email communicating a problem or desire to exchange.  Katie Poterala Jewelry is never held liable for expenses or errors in shipping associated with an exchange. It is the buyers responsibility to provide adequate shipping insurance upon return of work for exchange or repair.

All exchanged items must be received in original UNWORN condition, with absolutely no exceptions. Worn designs cannot be resold as new, and are thus not be eligible for exchange. Exchanges will not be made until returned items are received and verified to be in new, unworn condition.
